An anthology of poems written from the heart and soul of the poetess. This book is the most candid collection I have come across in a long time. True to its title, the book is a lyrical ballad of emotions with topical poems covering themes like nature, divinity, life experiences, candid confessions, love messages and a lot more. Unlike other poetry books, which I have mostly seen are written around either one or a few more topics, this book takes you deeper into the psyche of the author with various topical poems, and you witness her obvious creative side, better. For example, I loved the piece written by her, ‘I am the artist of my own life’. The poet says, I chose to be my own muse, Where I am the sculptor of my own masterpiece I take the liberty to carve my identity… Her flowing words, simple yet rhythmic narration in verses, reminded me of William Wordsworth, who was also known for his lyrical style of writing.
