Slumbering Summer’s Noon
The blades churned
slowly over the roof,
Drops of sweat slipping
through silk skin,
Dusky tone her body,
his fair hands touched,
Lying lazily on both
sides of bed, their gaze,
Met, thankful to the
summer noon twain,
Lover’s heart, even the
droplets of sweat,
Made her look sensual, her
warm uneasy breaths,
His eyes staring her
carefully, both lying still,
Reading the unspoken
desires sulking inside,
Waiting to unfold
slowly in slumbering summer's noon...
